About the Designer
With an eye for quality, a superior sense of style, and a client-centered approach, Charlotte Lekakos has proven herself as an innovative designer.
Classically trained, with Southern roots and a European flair, Charlotte is recognized for her fresh and approachable take on interior design. With every project, she combines her passion for creating beautiful homes with a thoughtful understanding of her client’s lifestyle.
A native of South Carolina, Charlotte opened Willard and Palmer in 1996 after working for several of Washington's most celebrated designers. Her portfolio includes residences, museums, universities, and commercial offices throughout the Washington area and beyond.
Charlotte’s career also includes work as an Italian language interpreter and translator, collaborating with the Save Venice Foundation and Kohler Co., among others. She studied Architectural History and Italian at the College of Charleston.
In her spare time, Charlotte loves to travel, read, and explore her hometown of Washington, DC. Her secret pleasures are scary movies and root-beer floats.
